The referee ignored FC De Sloverkes's protests and gave Bart-Jan Van Bockorst a yellow card for diving instead. Bart-Jan Van Bockorst kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Viktor Roelants made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Vandekerkhove in the 7th minute of play. Gringo Hendrickx was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Răzvan Pisculescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Răzvan Pisculescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Berliner Bären's Răzvan Pisculescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 22nd match minute, FC De Sloverkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Vandekerkhove to maneuver through the defense. FC De Sloverkes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Sam-Lucas Nijs scored to the left of an out of position Gringo Hendrickx, making the score, 3-1. A hard shot 28 in the game by Răzvan Pisculescu from a close distance when the talented Gringo Hendrickx managed to make a qualified save. FC De Sloverkes's players were relieved. FC De Sloverkes's Philippe-Arnaud Verbeke got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Philippe-Arnaud Verbeke off the ground. 30 minutes into the match, FC De Sloverkes's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Coveliers came free, but Gringo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederik Vandekerkhove kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Sam-Lucas Nijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gringo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dolf Zimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Berliner Bären's Răzvan Pisculescu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Răzvan Pisculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Abel Van Adorp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Pisculescu scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gringo Hendrickx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, FC De Sloverkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Jannes to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, FC De Sloverkes's Dolf Zimmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Roelants narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, FC De Sloverkes's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Coveliers came free, but Gringo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Berliner Bären's goalkeeper Viktor Roelants, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 75th minute of the match Bart-Jan Van Bockorst completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bart-Jan Van Bockorst a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to FC De Sloverkes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bart-Jan Van Bockorst hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Berliner Bären's Hakan Kaya tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Berliner Bären's zone, Dolf Zimmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Roelants came out of the goal and Dolf Zimmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, FC De Sloverkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf Zimmer to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, Berliner Bären's Elias Coveliers made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gringo Hendrickx was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lionel De Haes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Răzvan Pisculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gringo Hendrickx having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Răzvan Pisculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berliner Bären's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Pisculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gringo Hendrickx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lionel De Haes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viktor Roelants came out and tried to block the shot, but Lionel De Haes slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berliner Bären fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC De Sloverkes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
