With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gino Van Haeght prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gino Van Haeght took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Van De Velden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Sylvan Owerckx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piet Rouvoet. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Niels Van De Velden made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Van Haeght was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piet Rouvoet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Tuytgans in the 30th minute of the match. Piet Rouvoet was a little too slow when Sylvan Owerckx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Erik Tuytganss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Piet Rouvoet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 42 in the game by Erik Tuytgans from a close distance when the talented Piet Rouvoet managed to make a qualified save. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's players were relieved. In the 46th minute, Dominic Vandenbosch fired a really elegant long shot, but Piet Rouvoet threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niels Van De Velden made a kick off. If Erik Tuytgans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Jean Valckenaers got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Stein Vits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean Valckenaers charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Valckenaers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KAMPFSCHWEINEN getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Owerckx in the 72nd minute of play forced KAMPFSCHWEINEN's goalkeeper Piet Rouvoet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Martijn Smet managed to get in a good position for a shot. comeback's supporters rose to their feet, but Martijn Smet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Tuytgans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erik Tuytgans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. comeback had won after a very even match.
