The referee ignored KAMPFSCHWEINEN's protests and gave Lucas Callewaert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KAMPFSCHWEINEN getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lucas Callewaert hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Bram Ombelets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAA Hautrage the free kick. 11 minutes into the game, one of KAMPFSCHWEINEN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benoit Dujardin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piet Rouvoet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Matty De Block fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAMPFSCHWEINEN's protests and gave Matty De Block a yellow card for diving instead. When Benoit Dujardin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the KAA Hautrage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benoit Dujardin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Lucas Callewaert got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Piet Rouvoet didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, KAA Hautrage's goal looked a bit too open when Stein Vits came free, but Fransesco Poels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piet Rouvoet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominic Smet's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dominic Smet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77th match minute, KAMPFSCHWEINEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien van Eycken to maneuver through the defense. If Dominic Smet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
