If Louis Snyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Louis Snyerss short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Gringo Hendrickx to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Zimmer in the 13th minute of play forced Liernu's goalkeeper Weverton van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, FC De Sloverkes's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Snyers came free, but Gringo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weverton van Beek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Zimmer went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Louis Snyers struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gringo Hendrickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liernu. Yanniek Matthijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Gringo Hendrickx successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Weverton van Beek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Zimmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weverton van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Zimmer in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Dolf Zimmer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Liernu's Weverton van Beek. Weverton van Beek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dan Schoenmakers fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC De Sloverkes's protests and gave Dan Schoenmakers a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes FC De Sloverkes got a freekick which was hit by Dan Schoenmakers.

If Yanniek Matthijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Liernu booed when FC De Sloverkes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel De Haes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Snyers in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gringo Hendrickx saved FC De Sloverkes from getting behind. After 62 played minutes Liernu got a freekick which was hit by Sprunger Fasting. In the 64th minute, Louis Snyers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC De Sloverkes's Casper Jannes got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, FC De Sloverkes's Frederik Vandekerkhove nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weverton van Beek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Snyers in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gringo Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 76 minutes, Yanniek Matthijs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liernu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanniek Matthijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Liernu getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eugen Schneebeli hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Frederik Vandekerkhove notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Liernu's Weverton van Beek. Weverton van Beek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Weverton van Beek made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Frederik Vandekerkhove sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Louis Snyers put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gringo Hendrickx. Frederik Vandekerkhove could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Weverton van Beek made a huge save. Liernu's Sprunger Fasting got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC De Sloverkes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Liernu side.
