The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Berliner Bären:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KAA Hautrage:s goal. Răzvan Pisculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fransesco Poels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Pisculescu in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fransesco Poels saved KAA Hautrage from getting behind. Jan De Maesschalck charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan De Maesschalck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, one of KAA Hautrage:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KAA Hautrage. If Jullian van Elderen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berliner Bären's Viktor Roelants played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Smet in the 26th minute of play. Jullian van Elderen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fransesco Poels made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Pisculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fransesco Poels was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Pisculescu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fransesco Poels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 39 minutes, Elias Coveliers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berliner Bären's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Coveliers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Coveliers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Kieth Haelemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Pisculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Dominic Smet made the kick off in the second half. Elias Coveliers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fransesco Poels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Coveliers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Pisculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Berliner Bären's Răzvan Pisculescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fransesco Poels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Răzvan Pisculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Răzvan Pisculescu made a precise shot to the right of Fransesco Poels. KAA Hautrage's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Viktor Roelants showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Smet, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Hautrage's zone, Elias Coveliers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fransesco Poels came out of the goal and Elias Coveliers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jullian van Elderen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Berliner Bären fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jullian van Elderen couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Jullian van Elderen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian van Elderen in the 73rd minute of play forced KAA Hautrage's goalkeeper Fransesco Poels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Pisculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominic Smet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viktor Roelants came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Smet slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, KAA Hautrage's Benoit Dujardin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Răzvan Pisculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fransesco Poels having to interfere. Elias Coveliers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berliner Bären's Elias Coveliers has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 96th minute. Berliner Bären were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
