Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Gregorie Calstermans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waud De Backer was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Waud De Backer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger De Ceijser in the 5th minute of the match. Herald Baeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Van Den Hout in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Graux's Bavo Beckers got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Nils Maeijnaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Baeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Birger De Ceijser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Graux and the Werken players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Birger De Ceijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Maeijnaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Herald Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KFC Graux's Herald Baeten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Graux from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, KFC Graux's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Pelleman came free, but Herald Baeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Werken's Herald Baeten threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Maeijnaerts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to KFC Graux getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ruben Deroek hit a great ball. Herald Baeten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kristof Olbrechts. Thobias Degryse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emile Kerstens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herald Baeten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Maeijnaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. KFC Graux's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Nils Maeijnaerts scored to the left of an out of position Herald Baeten, making the score, 1-0. In the 48th minute Nils Maeijnaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Baeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emile Kerstens to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Werken's zone, Emile Kerstens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waud De Backer came out of the goal and Emile Kerstens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herald Baeten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Maeijnaerts went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Emile Kerstens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Birger De Ceijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Bill Van Den Hout sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herald Baeten skillfully saved the ball. If Birger De Ceijser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger De Ceijser was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswald Pelleman in the 72nd minute of play forced KFC Graux's goalkeeper Herald Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bill Van Den Hout scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herald Baeten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Oswald Pelleman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herald Baeten was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thobias Degryse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, Werken's Bill Van Den Hout made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Baeten was left in no man's land by his defense there!
