A collision led to ZVK Met Alle Chinezen getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jochen Waron hit a great ball. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Simon Kindt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Opdebeeck in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Gabriel Valckenaers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waud De Backer. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Tristan Machiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jochen Waron from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Waud De Backer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to ZVK Met Alle Chinezen getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vic Stas hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Nils Maeijnaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Kindt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Maeijnaerts in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Oliver Kempeneers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Waud De Backer, passed just outside the right post. Mats Opdebeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Simon Kindt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Valckenaers struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Waud De Backer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZVK Met Alle Chinezen. When Mats Opdebeeck came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Werken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Opdebeeck couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute of the match Jochen Waron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waud De Backer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 minutes ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kristof Olbrechts who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Valckenaers got free with Waud De Backer in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Maeijnaerts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Gabriel Valckenaers got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Valckenaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Backer having to interfere. If Gabriel Valckenaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Vic Stas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Vic Stas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZVK Met Alle Chinezen and the Werken players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes ZVK Met Alle Chinezen got a freekick which was hit by Vic Stas. In the 79th minute, Kristof Olbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88thth minute of the game Nils Maeijnaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Simon Kindt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Werken's Nils Maeijnaerts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When Oliver Kempeneers came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the ZVK Met Alle Chinezen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Kempeneers couldn't finish the play. Werken's Waud De Backer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Valckenaers in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Werken players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ZVK Met Alle Chinezen.
