Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Uytterhoeven started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Boubadji United booed when SC Rooigem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristof Van Lier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Ernest Uytterhoeven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kevin Coenen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 8 played minutes Boubadji United got a freekick which was hit by Fred Hoeybroeck. If Frederik De Bruyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Leenknecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Rompen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Rooigem's zone, Sander Van Casteren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Coenen came out of the goal and Sander Van Casteren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Coenen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Uytterhoeven in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, SC Rooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz Beaufort came free, but Kevin Coenen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kristof Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Rompen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Lier in the 34th minute of play. Laurenz Beaufort struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Kevin Coenen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boubadji United. Kevin Coenen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Beaufort, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The SC Rooigem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boubadji United were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristof Van Lier made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Frederik De Bruyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold Rompen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Izak Anthonis's late challenge caught a SC Rooigem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Izak Anthonis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boubadji United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Izak Anthonis hit a great ball. Harold Rompen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristof Van Lier in the 59th minute of the match. Harold Rompen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Leenknecht in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Laurenz Beaufort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Coenen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Rooigem's Kevin Coenen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenz Beaufort in the 73rd minute of play. Laurenz Beaufort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Frederik De Bruyn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harold Rompen. Boubadji United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederik De Bruyn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 96 played minutes, Boubadji United's Jasper Omblet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Coenen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boubadji United reached it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
