Club Brugge KV's Yoachim Kerkhofs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Club Brugge KV's goalkeeper Yoachim Kerkhofs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Valckenaers. A hard shot by Arnout Smekens from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Yoachim Kerkhofs's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Club Brugge KV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tibo Van Looy hit a great ball. Gabriel Valckenaers took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yoachim Kerkhofs. Yoachim Kerkhofs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18th match minute, Club Brugge KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibo Van Looy to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Miguel Leerbels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brugge KV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZVK Met Alle Chinezen the free kick. A collision led to Club Brugge KV getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Miguel Leerbels hit a great ball. Yoachim Kerkhofs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Kempeneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoachim Kerkhofs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Kempeneers in the 30th minute of the match. Yens Van Heerle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Kindt having to interfere. Yoachim Kerkhofs made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gabriel Valckenaers sent off a good shot on target. Club Brugge KV's Yoachim Kerkhofs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Kempeneers in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri-Xavier Buyck in the 43rd minute of play forced ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's goalkeeper Simon Kindt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Oliver Kempeneers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yoachim Kerkhofs. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

4-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Oliver Kempeneers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Gabriel Valckenaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's zone, Henri-Xavier Buyck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Kindt came out of the goal and Henri-Xavier Buyck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Natan Huyberechts got a free kick in the 64th minute. With an all-out effort, Club Brugge KV's Simon Kindt threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henri-Xavier Buyck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Club Brugge KV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZVK Met Alle Chinezen:s goal. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for ZVK Met Alle Chinezen. Jochen Waron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yoachim Kerkhofs. 5-0. Yoachim Kerkhofs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Kempeneers's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Yoachim Kerkhofs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Kempeneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's goalkeeper Simon Kindt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yens Van Heerle. Gabriel Valckenaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yoachim Kerkhofs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gabriel Valckenaers managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Valckenaers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoachim Kerkhofs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Simon Kindt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri-Xavier Buyck in the 92nd minute of play. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Gabriel Valckenaers got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Brugge KV for a fine match.
