Camiel Huijbrechts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Werken's Bill Van Den Hout got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, Camiel Huijbrechts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Maeijnaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. Sander De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Werken's Waud De Backer got control of the ball when Camiel Huijbrechts tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Werken had won after a very even match.
