Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Rooigem's Kristof Van Lier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natan Huyberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Lier in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute, Kenney Sanders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Coenen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mathieu Van Eyken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kristof Van Lier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Natan Huyberechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Coenen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenney Sanders in the 18th minute of play. The ZVK Met Alle Chinezen fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Mathieu Van Eyken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 played minutes SC Rooigem got a freekick which was hit by Luc Schoutens. After a rather tough play, SC Rooigem's Luc Schoutens got a free kick in the 31st minute. Kristof Van Lier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natan Huyberechts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristof Van Lier's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 45 minutes into the match, SC Rooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Van Eyken came free, but Kevin Coenen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Rooigem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenney Sanders was the one to do the kick off. When Filip Ingelborchs fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's protests and gave Filip Ingelborchs a yellow card for diving instead. If Kristof Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Rooigem's Wim Leenknecht in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's goalie prevented a goal. If Kenney Sanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Bauwmans kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Rooigem's Richy Van Heerle got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Kristof Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes of play, SC Rooigem's Wim Leenknecht made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natan Huyberechts was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Wim Leenknecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natan Huyberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenney Sanders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Coenen having to interfere. When Alexander Cuppens fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Rooigem's protests and gave Alexander Cuppens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ZVK Met Alle Chinezen booed when SC Rooigem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Cuppens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natan Huyberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Leenknecht in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Kristof Van Lier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rooigem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristof Van Lier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natan Huyberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Lier in the 96th minute of play. The ZVK Met Alle Chinezen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZVK Met Alle Chinezen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
