When Vince Stroobans fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAF Acupunctors's protests and gave Vince Stroobans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Vince Stroobans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Max Ceusters came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Grammene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Ceusters couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, BAF Acupunctors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wannes Eggers to maneuver through the defense. Max Ceusters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dyllan Humbelets made a huge save. Dolf Kindermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Dewitte in the 16th minute of play. Max Ceusters struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dyllan Humbelets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grammene. The audience was convinced that Achilles Van der Voert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dyllan Humbelets was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, BAF Acupunctors's goalkeeper Dyllan Humbelets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Ceusters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achilles Van der Voert in the 38th minute of play forced BAF Acupunctors's goalkeeper Dyllan Humbelets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dolf Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grammene fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achilles Van der Voert made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Max Ceusters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, BAF Acupunctors's Brent-Jan Dewitte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of BAF Acupunctors booed when Grammene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thys Van Latem didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grammene's zone, Karl Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dolf Kindermans came out of the goal and Karl Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brent-Jan Dewitte charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brent-Jan Dewitte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brent-Jan Dewitte hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Mateo Kindermans hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Brent-Jan Dewitte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
