An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Bautmans in the 9th minute of play forced Club Brugge KV's goalkeeper Bartjan Van de kauter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaert Diericx in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartjan Van de kauter saved Club Brugge KV from getting behind. Bartjan Van de kauter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rein Bautmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Rein Bautmans made a precise shot to the right of Bartjan Van de kauter. Club Brugge KV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 44 minutes into the match, Rein Bautmans notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Club Brugge KV's Bartjan Van de kauter. Bartjan Van de kauter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rein Bautmans was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Reinaert Diericx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PACS Wackerseel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Tibau Huybreghts put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Bartjan Van de kauter. PACS Wackerseel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
