Willy Poets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente De Cock in the 32nd minute of play. Mathias Saelens kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, KRC Bambrugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Saelens to maneuver through the defense. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richmond Van Malcot in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SK de jeankes's zone, Christopher Van Acht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck came out of the goal and Christopher Van Acht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SK de jeankes's Joonatan Van Houdtvinck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SK de jeankes from getting a goal against them. Izak Deconynck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richmond Van Malcot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richmond Van Malcot made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Richmond Van Malcot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KRC Bambrugge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richmond Van Malcot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richmond Van Malcot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SK de jeankes booed when KRC Bambrugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berten Meersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Mathias Saelens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KRC Bambrugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK de jeankes the free kick. In the 89th minute, Mathias Saelens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
