Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filip Van de Gaer started the match with the kick off. Bruno Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Van de Gaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 25 played minutes, Ruddervoorde's Jarno Van Bouschot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Maerschalcx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruddervoorde reached it. 26 minutes into the game, Bruno Wolput was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Froid-Chapelle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruddervoorde the free kick. Bruno Wolput kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Benjamin Stercks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Thibaud Camps skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Maerschalcx having to interfere. If Filip Van de Gaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Van de Gaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
52 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Froid-Chapelle's Benjamin Stercks fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Kris Van Clijnebreugel went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67th match minute, Froid-Chapelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieterjan Struijf to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Maerschalcx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thibaud Camps came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Froid-Chapelle's Klaas Van Landeghem. But to his dismay, Klaas Van Landeghem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Filip Van de Gaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Froid-Chapelle's Jo Van Severen got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Froid-Chapelle's goalkeeper Bruno Maerschalcx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel. Bruno Maerschalcx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Van de Gaer's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Ron Davus fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Froid-Chapelle's protests and gave Ron Davus a yellow card for diving instead. Ron Davus hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Filip Van de Gaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Van de Gaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Maerschalcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
