Berten Meersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veer Jhuti in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Poets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jose Omblets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Pepper Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Omblets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Poets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shahron Seng took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Willy Poets. KRC Bambrugge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 14th minute of play forced Black Pepper Boys's goalkeeper Hugo Van Dyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Veer Jhuti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charlie Tubbackx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willy Poets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Mathias Saelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hugo Van Dyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Veer Jhuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KRC Bambrugge's zone, Jose Omblets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Poets came out of the goal and Jose Omblets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richmond Van Malcot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hugo Van Dyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Omblets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Poets having to interfere. Black Pepper Boys's Hugo Van Dyck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 40th minute of play.

54 minutes into the match, Black Pepper Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Van Meenen came free, but Hugo Van Dyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KRC Bambrugge getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Berten Meersman hit a great ball. Black Pepper Boys's Jose Omblets got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Jose Omblets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Pepper Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Omblets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charlie Tubbackx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Poets having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KRC Bambrugge's zone, Veer Jhuti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Poets came out of the goal and Veer Jhuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Berten Meersman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jose Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Tubbackx scored 0-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willy Poets, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Omblets hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 90th minute of play forced Black Pepper Boys's goalkeeper Hugo Van Dyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Van Dyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Van Meenen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
