Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Sempels took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Peter Knoops fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK de jeankes's protests and gave Peter Knoops a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Knoops kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aime Borglevens in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Jordy Bormans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Van Houdtvinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Bormans, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Malinwa getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers hit a great ball. Marco Sempels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Bormans in the 33rd minute of play. Mathijs Du Sausois charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathijs Du Sausois the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK de jeankes booed when Malinwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Du Sausois didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Jordy Bormans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malinwa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Aime Borglevens took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joonatan Van Houdtvinck. Joonatan Van Houdtvinck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of SK de jeankes booed when Malinwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Malinwa were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordy Bormans made a kick off. Aime Borglevens came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joonatan Van Houdtvinck could save by the left post. After having played for 54 minutes, Jordy Bormans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malinwa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Bormans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malinwa's Mathijs Du Sausois got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, SK de jeankes's goalkeeper Joonatan Van Houdtvinck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aime Borglevens. A collision led to Malinwa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mathijs Du Sausois hit a great ball. Bass Rouvoet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. When Reemy Cantillon fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malinwa's protests and gave Reemy Cantillon a yellow card for diving instead. Malinwa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
