Dominic Cornelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Roger Justus made a huge save. Roger Justus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herman De Strijcker went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Renaud Van der Vloedt came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roger Justus could save by the left post. After some careless play in the F.C. Waereghem defense, Herman De Strijcker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Justus. The F.C. Waereghem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Justus should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute of the match, Herman De Strijcker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roger Justus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Roger Justus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
