After 17 played minutes Malinwa got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Vissenaeken. In the 18th minute, Philipp De Poorter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malinwa's Marc Visch didn't even have to move. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Froid-Chapelle's goalkeeper Bruno Maerschalcx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Benjamin Stercks came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Froid-Chapelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Stercks couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Sylvain Vissenaeken sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Froid-Chapelle's Bruno Maerschalcx didn't even have to move. Bruno Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Bormans, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th match minute, Malinwa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijs Du Sausois to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes, Froid-Chapelle's Philipp De Poorter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marc Visch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Froid-Chapelle reached it. Bruno Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Bormans, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Bormans in the 43rd minute of play forced Froid-Chapelle's goalkeeper Bruno Maerschalcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mathijs Du Sausois fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malinwa's protests and gave Mathijs Du Sausois a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Malinwa's Mathijs Du Sausois got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Froid-Chapelle's Bruno Maerschalcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Bormans in the 54th minute of play. Klaas Van Landeghem struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marc Visch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Froid-Chapelle. Klaas Van Landeghem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Visch having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malinwa's Lander Baele got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ron Davus charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ron Davus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Froid-Chapelle got a freekick which was hit by Ron Davus. Bruno Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aime Borglevens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron Davus hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Benjamin Stercks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Froid-Chapelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Stercks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froid-Chapelle's Klaas Van Landeghem got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Bormans in the 80th minute of the match. Aime Borglevens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Maerschalcx having to make a save. If Klaas Van Landeghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers's late challenge caught a Froid-Chapelle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Malinwa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Stercks might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Visch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Stercks ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes Froid-Chapelle got a freekick which was hit by Pieterjan Struijf. Jordy Bormans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Bruno Maerschalcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
