Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbie van Elderen started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Verrewinkel's goalkeeper Jos Volle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Van Brussel. Remco Van Hallebeecke kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Constant Roulin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DF Youth Academy's Quillian Vereect didn't even have to move. After 11 played minutes DF Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Robbie van Elderen. In the 12thth minute of the game Constant Roulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DF Youth Academy's Quillian Vereect was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quillian Vereect didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constant Roulin went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute of the match Edwin Van De Wijngaert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jos Volle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nic Koninkx kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie van Elderen in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jos Volle saved Verrewinkel from getting behind. Constant Roulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes in the game Bram Valckenaers did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sven De Hondt. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Constant Roulin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verrewinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Constant Roulin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quillian Vereect breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constant Roulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Robbie van Elderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Volle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie van Elderen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jos Volle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robbie van Elderen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constant Roulin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sven De Hondt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verrewinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven De Hondt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quillian Vereect breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven De Hondt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Quillian Vereect tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Sven De Hondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven De Hondt got free with Quillian Vereect in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Verrewinkel's Jos Volle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie van Elderen in the 89th minute of play. Jos Volle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie van Elderen in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Verrewinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nic Koninkx to maneuver through the defense. DF Youth Academy's Quillian Vereect proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save DF Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. Verrewinkel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
