A collision led to Joris Team getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Henri-Xavier Sellekaerts hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Giles De Custer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joris Team the free kick. After 9 played minutes Zwart Kaarsvet FC got a freekick which was hit by Giles De Custer. In the 11th minute, Gustave Heijlen made a precise shot to the right of Tony Coosemans. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gustave Heijlen scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Coosemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Antonio Eijkens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Coosemans. Antonio Eijkens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Antonio Eijkens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gustave Heijlen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joris Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustave Heijlen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Coosemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustave Heijlen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Coosemans. That made the score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. Gustave Heijlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonio Eijkens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustave Heijlen to make the kick off. Gustave Heijlen scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Coosemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gustave Heijlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Albertus Van Landeghem got a free kick in the 59th minute. Bob Snoekens kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tony Coosemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Eijkens in the 73rd minute of play. If Gustave Heijlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri-Xavier Sellekaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tony Coosemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Heijlen in the 91st minute of play. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Tony Coosemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Eijkens in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Zwart Kaarsvet FC booed when Joris Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel van Hagenborgh didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Joris Team had played much better football throughout.
