The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustave Heijlen hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Antonio Eijkens charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Eijkens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fc Brujas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nicolas Van de Gaer hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Joris Team's Antonio Eijkens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marek Michna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gustave Heijlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Eijkens in the 24th minute of play forced Fc Brujas's goalkeeper Marek Michna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Joris Team's Antonio Eijkens made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Michna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Antonio Eijkens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Michna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th match minute, Fc Brujas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt De Messemaekere to maneuver through the defense. Marek Michna came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joris Team's Gustave Heijlen. But to his dismay, Gustave Heijlen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Marek Michna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Eijkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustave Heijlen made a kick off. In the 54th minute Henri-Xavier Sellekaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ludwig Streels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Michna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Heijlen in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Fc Brujas got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Van de cauter. Marek Michna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Eijkens in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Joris Team were awarded a corner. Gustave Heijlen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Joris Team's Gustave Heijlen to fire away a dangerous shot which Marek Michna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matt De Messemaekere charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt De Messemaekere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 84 minutes into the match, Fc Brujas's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel van Hagenborgh came free, but Marek Michna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Eijkens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
