Lennert Van Den Brande's late challenge caught a VC Merchtem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennert Van Den Brande helped the player get up and apologised. Lennert Van Den Brande hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Vito in the 8th minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Isaac Vito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otoniel Mondragon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filiph Klemensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid Vrints in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Silvio Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loid Vrints in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiph Klemensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 27 minutes of play, Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiph Klemensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otoniel Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Estebe in the 33rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik-Jan Engelborgh during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erik-Jan Engelborgh kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Roberto-Carlos Gentenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th match minute, VC Merchtem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik-Jan Engelborgh to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson got control of the ball when Sam-Lucas Mertens tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Vito to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Loid Vrints who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rajmond Van den Brul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, VC Merchtem's Otoniel Mondragon threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaac Vito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam-Lucas Mertens in the 71st minute of play. The Kaysersheim fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 77 minutes, Loid Vrints made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Vito in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otoniel Mondragon saved Kaysersheim from getting behind. Sam-Lucas Mertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Filiph Klemensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes VC Merchtem got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Loosen. 90 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Vito came free, but Otoniel Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam-Lucas Mertens hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rajmond Van den Brul struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Otoniel Mondragon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Merchtem. Filiph Klemensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Vrints in the 93rd minute of play.
