FC Kuurne's Bernard Spoelberchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Rompen in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in De Salonsupporters's zone, Dylan van der Eycken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsene Van den Sande came out of the goal and Dylan van der Eycken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Van Meerbeec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsene Van den Sande having to make a save. If Will Rompen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Kuurne's Bernard Spoelberchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Rompen in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Kuurne's Hendrik-Jan Haeselaers got a free kick in the 27th minute. 39 minutes into the match, FC Kuurne's Ben Loremans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsene Van den Sande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dylan van der Eycken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, De Salonsupporters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Rompen to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. In the 79th minute, Willem-Jan Vrancken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Will Rompen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
