In the 15thth minute of the game Cesinha Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dimitry Ceusters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Simão in the 18th minute of play. When Sebastian Custermans fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zantho F.C.'s protests and gave Sebastian Custermans a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Zantho F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Custermans. In the 21st minute FC Coppenst were awarded a corner. Lenny Leenpoels went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Coppenst's Lenny Leenpoels to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimitry Ceusters despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dimitry Ceusters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Simão in the 24th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha Simão to make the kick off. Claude Kesters kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, FC Coppenst's Luuk De Hoef nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitry Ceusters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dimitry Ceusters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Simão in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cesinha Simão notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters. Dimitry Ceusters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Coppenst's Samuel Palolahti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Coppenst from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Coppenst had played much better football throughout.
