RSCA U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Van Den Bosche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Schoenmaekers hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. De Salonsupporters's Arsene Van den Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Van Achter in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Norbert Mattheijs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Salonsupporters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Mattheijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will Rompen was the one to do the kick off. Arsene Van den Sande came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by RSCA U21's Gerard Van Den Bosche. But to his dismay, Gerard Van Den Bosche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arsene Van den Sande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Van Den Bosche in the 64th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes RSCA U21 got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Van Maestricht. De Salonsupporters's Arsene Van den Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi De Bruyn in the 82nd minute of play. Arsene Van den Sande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Van Den Bosche, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Gerard Van Den Bosche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RSCA U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. RSCA U21's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
