Sean Weets started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Raf Van Eijcken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zantho F.C. and the Kaysersheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Zantho F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dimitry Ceusters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loid Vrints went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Zantho F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sam-Lucas Mertens came free, but Dimitry Ceusters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Weets came free, but Otoniel Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sam-Lucas Mertens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitry Ceusters was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34thth minute of the game Loid Vrints who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Constant Roekeloos hit a great ball. After 36 minutes, Loid Vrints made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Fransesco Christiaens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaysersheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fransesco Christiaens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goffrey Waron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Otoniel Mondragon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loid Vrints to make the kick off. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Zantho F.C. from getting a goal against them. Loid Vrints did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Dimitry Ceusters 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Sam-Lucas Mertens made a precise shot to the right of Dimitry Ceusters. Zantho F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Sebastian Custermans's late challenge caught a Kaysersheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Custermans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Sebastian Custermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constant Roekeloos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Zantho F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Weets to maneuver through the defense. Sam-Lucas Mertens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Loid Vrints's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitry Ceusters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Fransesco Christiaens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dimitry Ceusters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goffrey Waron in the 72nd minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fransesco Christiaens in the 74th minute of play. Sam-Lucas Mertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dimitry Ceusters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otoniel Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Weets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes, Zantho F.C.'s Michael Lanphan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zantho F.C. reached it. Sam-Lucas Mertens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitry Ceusters having to interfere. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Zantho F.C. from getting a goal against them. Loid Vrints might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitry Ceusters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loid Vrints ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaysersheim's Sam-Lucas Mertens got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sam-Lucas Mertens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Zantho F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kaysersheim were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
