Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niki Smolders took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Sean Weets came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Zantho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Weets couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, Alexandre van Goetsenhoven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aalbeked's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zantho F.C. the free kick. Alexandre van Goetsenhoven hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Sean Weets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaud Raeijmaeckers having to interfere. When Goffrey Waron came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Zantho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goffrey Waron couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Aalbeked got a freekick which was hit by Christoffel Jennes. In the 17th minute Niki Smolders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitry Ceusters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aalbeked were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Zantho F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dave De Martelaere took the corner. The corner led Aalbeked's Dave De Martelaere to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimitry Ceusters despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sean Weets's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Michael Lanphan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thibaud Raeijmaeckers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goffrey Waron in the 38th minute of play. Goffrey Waron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Aalbeked's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Weets came free, but Thibaud Raeijmaeckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goffrey Waron, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sean Weets to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Aalbeked booed when Zantho F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrand Rouvroys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joost Van hoegaerde in the 51st minute of play. Goffrey Waron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joost Van hoegaerde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitry Ceusters having to make a save. Sean Weets hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Niki Smolders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constant Roekeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Aalbeked booed when Zantho F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrand Rouvroys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joost Van hoegaerde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Joost Van hoegaerde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aalbeked's supporters rose to their feet, but Joost Van hoegaerde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitry Ceusters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Smolders in the 76th minute of play. Niki Smolders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zantho F.C. booed when Aalbeked was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffel Jennes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Joost Van hoegaerde notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters. Dimitry Ceusters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Goffrey Waron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thibaud Raeijmaeckers. Aalbeked's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Goffrey Waron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
