Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerard Van Den Bosche got the match started through his kick off. Kristen Keldermans hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Stijn De Schepper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaysersheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stijn De Schepper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rens Laurent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. George Gyselinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Gyselinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rens Laurent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in RSCA U21's zone, Sam-Lucas Mertens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Gyselinck came out of the goal and Sam-Lucas Mertens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loid Vrints recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Pascal Zeitner put in a rough tackle. 21 minutes into the game, one of Kaysersheim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Otoniel Mondragon went to the wrong direction when Philip Van Achter was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 28 minutes, Thibau De Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaysersheim and the RSCA U21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Thibau De Beck got a free kick in the 28th minute. RSCA U21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Philip Van Achter in the 32nd minute. The corner ended in Philip Van Achter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon did a great save. George Gyselinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rens Laurent in the 36th minute of play. If Rens Laurent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sam-Lucas Mertens made a kick off. Otoniel Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Van Den Bosche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Thibau De Beck got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thibau De Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rens Laurent got free with George Gyselinck in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, RSCA U21's Philip Van Achter got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Rens Laurent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rens Laurent fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaysersheim's protests and gave Rens Laurent a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Rens Laurent got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Kaysersheim's Sam-Lucas Mertens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rens Laurent got free with George Gyselinck in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thibau De Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislaw Burowski charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislaw Burowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 83 minutes into the game, one of RSCA U21:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Rens Laurent got a free kick in the 87th minute. Otoniel Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Van Den Bosche's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Sam-Lucas Mertens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaysersheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam-Lucas Mertens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaysersheim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
