Kieth Marrant got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ludwig Decock. 4 minutes into the match, Mesudiye fc's Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Van hoegaerde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudy Uytterhaegen during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Rudy Uytterhaegen got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Guilian Ghesels in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mesudiye fc's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Van hoegaerde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartjan Goemyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Guilian Ghesels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabien Heijligem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guilian Ghesels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute of the match Wesley De Wever shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabien Heijligem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabien Heijligem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilian Ghesels in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's zone, Bartjan Goemyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Van hoegaerde came out of the goal and Bartjan Goemyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilian Ghesels spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mesudiye fc's goal. Francis Schroons kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rens De Prins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin booed when Mesudiye fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niki Van Hoyveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Constantijn Van Steen hit a great ball. Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Ivan Van hoegaerde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren to make the kick off. Ivan Van hoegaerde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rens De Prins in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Van hoegaerde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mesudiye fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartjan Goemyne in the 60th minute of play forced Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Ivan Van hoegaerde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Van hoegaerde was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 83rd minute, one of Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin. After having played for 88 minutes, Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesudiye fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francis Schroons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Van Deuren in the 92nd minute of play forced Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Ivan Van hoegaerde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin got a freekick which was hit by Henk Van Cauwenbergh.
