In the 26th minute, Mitch Stoffels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Barça got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Pulix. Daniel Gendre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alexander Verheijd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Gendre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bovoorde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene De Mare in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Verheijd saved Barça from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene De Mare to make the kick off. Joachim Pulix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ettore Piacente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alexander Verheijd didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bovoorde's Rene De Mare shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 64 minutes into the match, Barça's goal looked a bit too open when Rene De Mare came free, but Alexander Verheijd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Rene De Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Verheijd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bovoorde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
