In the 21st match minute, The Olympians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nic Duchateau to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Olympians's zone, Douglas Sneijers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomil Noworolnik came out of the goal and Douglas Sneijers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Van Bouschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Noworolnik having to interfere. After 25 played minutes The Olympians got a freekick which was hit by Josef De Keyser. A collision led to Vroegeinde getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Michel de Neutere hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Sebastian Roscams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Roscams could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Joachim Gobbelijns however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Roscams kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joachim Gobbelijns. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. A collision led to Vroegeinde getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Andries Ingelborgh hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Olympians's zone, Andries Ingelborgh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomil Noworolnik came out of the goal and Andries Ingelborgh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Sneijers made a kick off. Vroegeinde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel de Neutere in the 55th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Vroegeinde's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Roscams came free, but Joachim Gobbelijns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Gobbelijns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Grootjans in the 71st minute of the match. Joachim Gobbelijns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Grootjans in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Christofere Pacolet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Gobbelijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Van Bouschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Noworolnik having to interfere. Douglas Sneijers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
