Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) Glenn Clijsters started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Bovoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Clijsters came free, but Ettore Piacente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Piacente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Clijsters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Glenn Clijsters notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bovoorde's Ettore Piacente. Ettore Piacente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bovoorde's Rene De Mare got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ettore Piacente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Clijsters, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Furo AFC's Gill Roukeloes got control of the ball when Rene De Mare tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Gendre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gill Roukeloes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Clijsters in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Piacente saved Bovoorde from getting behind. Gill Roukeloes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rene De Mare sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Wayne Anthonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ettore Piacente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Clijsters in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Rene De Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Roukeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furo AFC's Gill Roukeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene De Mare in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Bovoorde getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Raf Van den Sande hit a great ball. Ettore Piacente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Van Langhendoncx in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Furo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Gendre came free, but Gill Roukeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Piacente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Van Meerbeeck in the 66th minute of play. Gill Roukeloes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene De Mare's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 71st match minute, Furo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Anthonis to maneuver through the defense. Guillaume Van Meerbeeck took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Piacente. Ettore Piacente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gendre in the 79th minute of play forced Furo AFC's goalkeeper Gill Roukeloes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene De Mare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gill Roukeloes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Sven De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bovoorde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramon Hacke kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wayne Anthonis during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wayne Anthonis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Furo AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
