Jesse Naessens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannick Berckmans in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Aslan Spor32 booed when FC Dharma Initiative was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Schol didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor de Pelsmacker in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Van Bouschot saved Aslan Spor32 from getting behind. Viktor de Pelsmacker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Van Bouschot came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor de Pelsmacker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Hannes Wigers's late challenge caught a Aslan Spor32's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Wigers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aslan Spor32 booed when FC Dharma Initiative was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Wigers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacq Verheijt took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesse Naessens. Jesse Naessens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Aslan Spor32's Yanick Schols got a free kick in the 38th minute. Sebastian Van Bouschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor de Pelsmacker in the 41st minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quillian Ingelbert to make the kick off. Jacq Verheijt took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesse Naessens. Jesse Naessens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 56th minute Viktor de Pelsmacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Van Bouschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Dharma Initiative's Viktor de Pelsmacker in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aslan Spor32's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, FC Dharma Initiative's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Poets came free, but Jesse Naessens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Viktor de Pelsmacker notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot. Sebastian Van Bouschot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Quillian Ingelbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hannes Claevers fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aslan Spor32's protests and gave Hannes Claevers a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aslan Spor32 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hannes Claevers hit a great ball. Quillian Ingelbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor de Pelsmacker came free, but Sebastian Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Aslan Spor32 defense, Sebastien Verstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Van Bouschot. The Aslan Spor32 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Van Bouschot should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the FC Dharma Initiative players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
