Spectators: 8039 (Terracing: 6030, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) In the 5thth minute of the game Tijs Van Gorpt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Soccer Bears's Jorge Van der Vorst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herman Kortens came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Soccer Bears's Marc Cempeners. But to his dismay, Marc Cempeners quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, FC Soccer Bears's Louis-Philippe van Eijnde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Kortens was left in no man's land by his defense there! When De Huppelende Zebras's Tijs Van Gorpt in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Soccer Bears's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Jorge Van der Vorst managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when De Huppelende Zebras's Jerry Goebelens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Stephen Pelgrims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Kortens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tijs Van Den Brande, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of FC Soccer Bears booed when De Huppelende Zebras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Marc Cempeners ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Kortens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th minute Tijs Van Gorpt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Van der Vorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Georges-Philippe Desmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Goebelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Van der Vorst having to interfere. Jorge Van der Vorst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conny Sjöberg in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tijs Van Gorpt made a kick off. Herman Kortens was a little too slow when Tijs Van Den Brande got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-4. 56 minutes into the game, Stephen Pelgrims was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Soccer Bears's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Huppelende Zebras the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Soccer Bears's Stephen Pelgrims got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marc Cempeners received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herman Kortens came out and tried to block the shot, but Marc Cempeners slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 58th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Antonio Daniels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Soccer Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Daniels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Van der Vorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Sjöberg in the 67th minute of play. After 76 played minutes FC Soccer Bears got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Daniels. Antonio Daniels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Kortens having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Soccer Bears's Yens Smet got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Alex Rueda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Van der Vorst skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Van der Vorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tijs Van Gorpt, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tijs Van Gorpt in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Soccer Bears's goalkeeper Jorge Van der Vorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Tijs Van Gorpt sped through FC Soccer Bears's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Van der Vorst. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Soccer Bears walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
