Peperhol's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim-Alexander De Roover was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soren Fierens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Diedrik Arnoets recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Soren Fierens. Diedrik Arnoets showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Frank Panhuijsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Laurens Preuveneer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Royal Timboektoe city's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Panhuijsen came free, but Soren Fierens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Timboektoe city's zone, Frank Panhuijsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soren Fierens came out of the goal and Frank Panhuijsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Peperhol getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Diedrik Arnoets hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martijn Wintermans to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Royal Timboektoe city was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Preuveneer to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Frank Panhuijsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soren Fierens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 56 played minutes Peperhol got a freekick which was hit by Diedrik Arnoets. Frank Panhuijsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soren Fierens having to interfere. If Frank Panhuijsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Panhuijsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Soren Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
