Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) KFC Melkwezer's Mats Verbeeck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, KFC Melkwezer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Verbeeck to maneuver through the defense. Refael Lissens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Schouters in the 6th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, one of Jonas en de Walvis II:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jonas en de Walvis II. Refael Lissens had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Georges Verheugen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th minute, Georges Verheugen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Refael Lissens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Refael Lissens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf Spoelberch in the 12th minute of the match. Jeroen Van Den Eijnde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dany Vermeulen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Melkwezer's zone, Geert-Jan Huyberechts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany Vermeulen came out of the goal and Geert-Jan Huyberechts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Jeroen Van Den Eijnde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dany Vermeulen. KFC Melkwezer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeroen Van Den Eijnde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Joonatan De Vlaeminck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 25 minutes into the game, Jonas en de Walvis II's Jeroen Van Den Eijnde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dany Vermeulen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Refael Lissens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Verbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Geert-Jan Huyberechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dany Vermeulen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Mats Verbeeck made a precise shot to the right of Refael Lissens. Jonas en de Walvis II's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jeroen Van Den Eijnde hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Joonatan De Vlaeminck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renzo van Hacht hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Jeroen Van Den Eijnde came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Jonas en de Walvis II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeroen Van Den Eijnde couldn't finish the play. Jeroen Van Den Eijnde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dany Vermeulen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dany Vermeulen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Van Den Eijnde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Geert-Jan Huyberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Geert-Jan Huyberechts made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Jonas en de Walvis II getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jeroen Van Den Eijnde hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Mats Verbeeck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Refael Lissens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Geert-Jan Huyberechts might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dany Vermeulen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geert-Jan Huyberechts ran back to his position shaking his head. Refael Lissens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Schouters went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Raf Spoelberch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Refael Lissens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geert-Jan Huyberechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dany Vermeulen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeroen Van Den Eijnde came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Jonas en de Walvis II fans jumped to their feet. In the 77th minute, Jeroen Van Den Eijnde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeroen Van Den Eijnde struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Dany Vermeulen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonas en de Walvis II. After having played for 83 minutes, Jelle Ceustermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonas en de Walvis II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jelle Ceustermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jeroen Van Den Eijnde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Jonas en de Walvis II's Jeroen Van Den Eijnde made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dany Vermeulen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's goalkeeper Refael Lissens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Schouters. Jonas en de Walvis II's Geert-Jan Huyberechts got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas en de Walvis II were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
