In the 29th minute, Ahmet Arif İlhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Van Linthaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Tanner's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the game, TS-61's Steven Tanner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Van Linthaut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Tanner in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Van Linthaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of TS-61 booed when Galatasaray A.S. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Van Linthaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Van Linthaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Tanner in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Ahmet Arif İlhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TS-61's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Arif İlhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Galatasaray A.S. defense, Steven Tanner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Van Linthaut. The Galatasaray A.S. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Van Linthaut should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Tanner in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Van Linthaut saved Galatasaray A.S. from getting behind. Steven Tanner took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Van Linthaut. Oliver Van Linthaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Steven Tanner sped through Galatasaray A.S.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Van Linthaut. If Steven Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Tanner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Oliver Van Linthaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Feliberto Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
