Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tristan Vanden Berghe kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Melkwezer's zone, Charl Ravoet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany Vermeulen came out of the goal and Charl Ravoet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raf Spoelberch got free with Frank Leers in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dany Vermeulen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charl Ravoet's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the KFC Melkwezer defense, Tristan Vanden Berghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dany Vermeulen. The KFC Melkwezer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dany Vermeulen should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Bryan Schouters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charl Ravoet kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tristan Vanden Berghe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dany Vermeulen was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Tristan Vanden Berghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dany Vermeulen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Tristan Vanden Berghe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Melkwezer's Dany Vermeulen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryan Schouters's late challenge caught a Kota 1 FC ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryan Schouters helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Bryan Schouters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dany Vermeulen saved KFC Melkwezer from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Tristan Vanden Berghe put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dany Vermeulen. In the 46th minute Charl Ravoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dany Vermeulen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Kota 1 FC ™ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mats Verbeeck was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Dany Vermeulen managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Kota 1 FC ™'s Tristan Vanden Berghe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Kota 1 FC ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Raf Spoelberch came free, but Frank Leers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dany Vermeulen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charl Ravoet in the 72nd minute of the match. Tristan Vanden Berghe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dany Vermeulen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Tristan Vanden Berghe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dany Vermeulen, 0-5. Renzo van Hacht hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Charl Ravoet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dany Vermeulen, passed just outside the right post. Tristan Vanden Berghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kota 1 FC ™ played a much better game than KFC Melkwezer and deserved their victory. The KFC Melkwezer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
