Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ignace Seveneijns made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, KFC Oosthoven's Ignace Seveneijns sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dany Vermeulen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignace Seveneijns in the 6th minute of play forced KFC Melkwezer's goalkeeper Dany Vermeulen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mats Verbeeck came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the KFC Melkwezer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Verbeeck couldn't finish the play. Ignace Seveneijns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dany Vermeulen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Sulem in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dany Vermeulen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, KFC Melkwezer's Dany Vermeulen got control of the ball when Teo Sulem tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Dante Verhaeghen from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Dany Vermeulen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 22nd minute, Mats Verbeeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of KFC Melkwezer booed when KFC Oosthoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Sellekaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dany Vermeulen made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Teo Sulem sent off a good shot on target. Dany Vermeulen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignace Seveneijns in the 44th minute of play. Dany Vermeulen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignace Seveneijns in the 47th minute of the match. When Ignace Seveneijns came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the KFC Oosthoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignace Seveneijns couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With his leg Wayne De Wilde managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when KFC Melkwezer's Raf Spoelberch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of KFC Melkwezer booed when KFC Oosthoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill Franckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Verbeeck in the 58th minute of play forced KFC Oosthoven's goalkeeper Wayne De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignace Seveneijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Sulem in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dany Vermeulen saved KFC Melkwezer from getting behind. Raf Spoelberch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raf Spoelberch got free with Wayne De Wilde in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Sulem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dany Vermeulen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dany Vermeulen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Sulem's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the KFC Melkwezer defense, Ignace Seveneijns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dany Vermeulen. The KFC Melkwezer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dany Vermeulen should have stopped the shot. If Ignace Seveneijns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Melkwezer's zone, Teo Sulem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany Vermeulen came out of the goal and Teo Sulem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The KFC Oosthoven fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when KFC Oosthoven's Ignace Seveneijns looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ignace Seveneijns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KFC Oosthoven fully deserved thier win.
