Alfred Robin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Cappels in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Jonas en de Walvis II got a corner. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geert-Jan Huyberechts ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Jeroen Van Den Eijnde managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dmitry Levashik scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Refael Lissens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dmitry Levashik in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Refael Lissens saved Jonas en de Walvis II from getting behind. Erik Cappels hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Dmitry Levashik made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Refael Lissens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vriendenkring Wippelgem were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Jonas en de Walvis II's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lorenz Van Schoorisse took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Mattijs Van Der Meeren heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Herbert Cappels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattijs Van Der Meeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refael Lissens having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Vriendenkring Wippelgem got a freekick which was hit by Mattijs Van Der Meeren. 41 minutes into the match, Dmitry Levashik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Refael Lissens, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geert-Jan Huyberechts to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Jonas en de Walvis II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelle Ceustermans to maneuver through the defense. Mattijs Van Der Meeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Lander Bormans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Refael Lissens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitry Levashik in the 66th minute of play. Refael Lissens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitry Levashik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mattijs Van Der Meeren hit a great ball. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jonas en de Walvis II! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Vriendenkring Wippelgem. Lorenz Van Schoorisse stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Refael Lissens. 7-0. 83 minutes in the game Erik Cappels did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Geert-Jan Huyberechts. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dmitry Levashik hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Dmitry Levashik made a precise shot to the right of Refael Lissens. Jonas en de Walvis II's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 93rd match minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz Van Schoorisse to maneuver through the defense. Jonas en de Walvis II's Robert Van Gorpt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivo Cuppens, made in the 97th minute of the game. In the 99thth minute of the game Dmitry Levashik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jonas en de Walvis II's Refael Lissens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas en de Walvis II's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
