Bart Bruynincx kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tollembeek's zone, Pierre-Alexandre Vincx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Diependaele came out of the goal and Pierre-Alexandre Vincx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tollembeek booed when KFC Hamont-Achel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Ronsman in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Diependaele saved Tollembeek from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Tommy Ronsman rounded Tollembeek's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Pierre-Alexandre Vincx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edgard Diependaele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarno Koninkx charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarno Koninkx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 31 minutes into the game, one of Tollembeek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute, Pierre-Alexandre Vincx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Tommy Ronsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KFC Hamont-Achel's Tommy Ronsman got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tollembeek's Edgard Diependaele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Ronsman in the 40th minute of play. Edgard Diependaele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Alexandre Vincx went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 47 minutes, Pierre-Alexandre Vincx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Hamont-Achel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Alexandre Vincx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Ronsman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tollembeek's Bart Bruynincx got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Pierre-Alexandre Vincx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Diependaele having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Ronsman in the 56th minute of play forced Tollembeek's goalkeeper Edgard Diependaele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Ronsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Tollembeek's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Ronsman came free, but Edgard Diependaele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Ronsman in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tommy Ronsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Hamont-Achel's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Ronsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Diependaele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Alexandre Vincx in the 76th minute of play. Jaques Raedemaeckers's late challenge caught a KFC Hamont-Achel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaques Raedemaeckers helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre-Alexandre Vincx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bart Bruynincx charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart Bruynincx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Tollembeek got a freekick which was hit by Bart Bruynincx. In the 84th minute Tommy Ronsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Diependaele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Ronsman in the 88th minute of play. KFC Hamont-Achel's Lieven Van den Enden got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
