The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fredrik Meeuwissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Walder in the 3rd minute of the match. When Roger Adriaensens fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tollembeek's protests and gave Roger Adriaensens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Tollembeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Adriaensens to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 10 in the game by Matthias Van Der Elst from a close distance when the talented Edgard Diependaele managed to make a qualified save. Tollembeek's players were relieved. The corner led Tollembeek's Yens Loremans to fire away a dangerous shot which Fredrik Meeuwissen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthonio Soetemans during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Zandvoorde getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Anthonio Soetemans hit a great ball. Fredrik Meeuwissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alek De Geyter in the 20th minute of play. Fredrik Meeuwissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek De Geyter in the 23rd minute of the match. Abel Borglevens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alek De Geyter's late challenge caught a FC Zandvoorde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alek De Geyter helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tollembeek getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alek De Geyter hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tollembeek's goalkeeper Edgard Diependaele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Abel Borglevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zandvoorde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Borglevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Du Bois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edgard Diependaele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Van Der Elsts short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Edgard Diependaele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute of the match Abel Borglevens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Diependaele skillfully saved the ball. Matthias Van Der Elst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alek De Geyter in the 44th minute of play forced FC Zandvoorde's goalkeeper Fredrik Meeuwissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Zandvoorde's Matthias Van Der Elst in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Tollembeek's Roger Adriaensens got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fredrik Meeuwissen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alek De Geyter in the 64th minute. A collision led to Tollembeek getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ron Van Aghten hit a great ball. Abel Borglevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Diependaele having to interfere. When Diego Walder in the 73rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fredrik Meeuwissen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 78 minutes in the game, Alek De Geyter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fredrik Meeuwissen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Zandvoorde's Anthonio Soetemans got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Alek De Geyter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Meeuwissen. FC Zandvoorde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alek De Geyter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alek De Geyter came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fredrik Meeuwissen could save by the left post. Fredrik Meeuwissen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alek De Geyter in the 92nd minute. During the 93rd minute of the match Alek De Geyter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alek De Geyter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th minute, Alek De Geyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tollembeek walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
