After a rather tough play, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's 蒋志伟 got a free kick in the 26th minute. Francisco Huly might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilliam De Koning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Huly ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilliam De Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蒋志伟 in the 32nd minute of the match. Nicolas Leclerq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilliam De Koning having to interfere. A collision led to VC Jekervallei Sluizen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. 蒋志伟 hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Manuel De Bruijn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 蒋志伟 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 蒋志伟 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game 蒋志伟 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aineffe's Gilliam De Koning was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Roben Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Lembrechts in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ief De Baere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Van Buyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilliam De Koning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋志伟, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 蒋志伟 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gilliam De Koning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, 蒋志伟 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Jekervallei Sluizen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Perry Van Cruchten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aineffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Van Cruchten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Aineffe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented VC Jekervallei Sluizen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
