VC Jekervallei Sluizen's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Leclerq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Meeuwissen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Van Der Elst to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Cedrik Wilmots nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Meeuwissen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 55 minutes into the game, 蒋志伟 threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Zandvoorde's Victor Du Bois quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthonio Soetemans got free with Roben Van Buyten in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roben Van Buyten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Van Der Elst's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Roben Van Buyten made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Anthonio Soetemans sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Francisco Huly notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Zandvoorde's Fredrik Meeuwissen. Fredrik Meeuwissen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victor Du Bois scored 3-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roben Van Buyten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Abel Borglevens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roben Van Buyten, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Du Bois got free with Roben Van Buyten in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes VC Jekervallei Sluizen got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Huly. Roben Van Buyten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Van Der Elst in the 79th minute. In the 88th minute Anthonio Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Van Buyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Van Der Elst got free with Roben Van Buyten in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Nicolas Leclerq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Zandvoorde played a much better game than VC Jekervallei Sluizen and deserved their victory. The VC Jekervallei Sluizen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
