After a rather tough play, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Francisco Huly got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Yoachim Hauwaerts made a precise shot to the right of Roben Van Buyten. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Johannes Weijnandts notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Roben Van Buyten. Roben Van Buyten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Cedrik Wilmots got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Suikerklontjes's Johannes Weijnandts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Janes Verhoeven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Yoachim Hauwaerts took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Roben Van Buyten to make any attempt to save it. Roben Van Buyten made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Johannes Weijnandts sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Cedrik Wilmots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoachim Hauwaerts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roben Van Buyten. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mauricio Gai fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Jekervallei Sluizen's protests and gave Mauricio Gai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VC Jekervallei Sluizen getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mauricio Gai hit a great ball. Roben Van Buyten came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Suikerklontjes's Herald Van de Goor. But to his dismay, Herald Van de Goor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Roben Van Buyten was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Herald Van de Goor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herald Van de Goor really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Suikerklontjes's Johannes Weijnandts got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Rouckeloos in the 44th minute of play forced VC Jekervallei Sluizen's goalkeeper Roben Van Buyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 蒋志伟 made a kick off. In the 56th minute Johannes Weijnandts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Van Buyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suikerklontjes's Yoachim Hauwaerts was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roben Van Buyten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Roben Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 59th minute of play. Janes Verhoeven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roben Van Buyten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Roben Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 66th minute of play. Sammy Godts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蒋志伟 in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Janes Verhoeven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roben Van Buyten. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janes Verhoeven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Johannes Weijnandts succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 11-0. Roben Van Buyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Francisco Huly ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sammy Godts. Sammy Godts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 11-1. After a rather tough play, VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Nicolas Leclerq got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Yoachim Hauwaerts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roben Van Buyten skillfully saved the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Suikerklontjes's Herald Van de Goor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roben Van Buyten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Suikerklontjes fully deserved thier win.
