When Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ZVC Wellen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek from a close distance when the talented Jorg De Clerk managed to make a qualified save. Rozen's players were relieved. William Hostens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Demeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. ZVC Wellen's William Hostens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Bauwens in the 27th minute of play. Jim Demeester got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jim Demeester kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Lennart De Poorter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorg De Clerk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Bartjan Slegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart De Poorter was the one to do the kick off. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. When ZVC Wellen's Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Jorg De Clerk saved Rozen from getting behind. If Lennart De Poorter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart De Poorter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but William Hostens made a huge save. In the 83rd match minute, ZVC Wellen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartjan Slegers to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorg De Clerk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorg De Clerk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron De Maerschalck went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
