Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Erwin-Alexander Meertens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Speurdonk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th match minute, RSC Loenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoor Van De Wijngaert to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Speurdonk got a freekick which was hit by Matthis Dekeyser. Ief De Smet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Bekaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ricardo van Beek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olliver Clinckspoor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ief De Smet. If Ief De Smet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ief De Smet managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Loenhout's supporters rose to their feet, but Ief De Smet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo van Beek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Speurdonk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin-Alexander Meertens to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Ief De Smet came free, but Ricardo van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ief De Smet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Lucas Bekaert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ricardo van Beek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ief De Smet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Ief De Smet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo van Beek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jef Vandenbosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When RSC Loenhout's Ief De Smet in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ricardo van Beek guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 74th minute, Ief De Smet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo van Beek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ief De Smet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo van Beek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Speurdonk got a freekick which was hit by Marnix Tkint. 94 minutes into the match, RSC Loenhout's Ief De Smet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo van Beek narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
