When Ief De Smet came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the RSC Loenhout fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ief De Smet couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Christof Gielis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite Red Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The wind increased when Maximiliano Perez made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Elite Red Devils's Christian Gudmundsson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yvan Koppen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christof Gielis in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yvan Koppen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Gudmundsson took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yvan Koppen. Yvan Koppen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Christof Gielis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Loenhout's zone, Christof Gielis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yvan Koppen came out of the goal and Christof Gielis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yvan Koppen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Gudmundsson in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Elite Red Devils getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Jakisz hit a great ball.
