The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswald Van Der Meren during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswald Van Der Meren kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Berten Wortelaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ricardo van Beek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Axel Lindqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Vanhaeren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's Berten Wortelaert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo van Beek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berten Wortelaert took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo van Beek. Ricardo van Beek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ricardo van Beek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berten Wortelaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ricardo van Beek came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dutch Rebels's Berten Wortelaert. But to his dismay, Berten Wortelaert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

In the 54th minute of the match Lucien Vrints sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascal Vanhaeren skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berten Wortelaert got free with Ricardo van Beek in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo van Beek was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Ola Pola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ola Pola really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ricardo van Beek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berten Wortelaert in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ola Pola took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ricardo van Beek to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Speurdonk's zone, Berten Wortelaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo van Beek came out of the goal and Berten Wortelaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dutch Rebels's Berten Wortelaert got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ola Pola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Berten Wortelaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dutch Rebels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berten Wortelaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berten Wortelaert. When the match was over Dutch Rebels could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Speurdonk throughout the match.
